Cong slams govt for ‘taking back’ money under PM-KISAN by declaring farmers ‘ineligible’

The Congress on Thursday claimed that the Centre is issuing notices to farmers deemed ineligible under the PM-KISAN scheme to take back the money disbursed to them, and demanded the recovery from “poor annadaatas” be immediately stopped. The Punjab government request for a probe by a sitting high court judge into the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala has not been accepted, according to sources. The sources said a communication in this regard has been sent to the state government by the court administration.
