Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj passes away

Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj died at the AIIMS in New Delhi late on August 6. She was 67.

She suffered a cardiac arrest. She was administered CPR but did not respond, according to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Sources said she was brought to AIIMS at 10. 15 p.m. and was straight away taken to the emergency ward. A number of senior Ministers rushed to the hospital.
