Rupee rebounds 18 paise to 70.71 against USD in early trade

The rebounded by 18 paise to 70.71 against the US dollar in early trade on Thursday, a day after the Reserve Bank of India cut the key interest rate by 35 basis points. At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee witnessed high volatility against the US dollar. Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj died at the AIIMS in New Delhi late on August 6. She was 67. She suffered a cardiac arrest. She was administered CPR but did not respond, according to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
