The latest trigger for the rebound in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/business\/akshaya-tritiya-2018-offers-on-gold-diamond-jewellery-by-tanishq-pc-jeweller-malabar-gold-1838709\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PC Jeweller<\/a>\u00a0shares is the advancement of its board meeting to consider share buyback. In a communication to exchanges, PC Jeweller said a separate meeting of its board will be held on Thursday, May 10, to consider the proposal for buyback of fully paid-up equity shares of the company.<\/p>\n<p>PC Jeweller also reiterated that its board will meet on May 25 to consider financial results and recommendation of dividend.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/business\/pc-jeweller-share-price-buyback-stock-rockets-18-before-giving-up-gains-1844794\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Last month, on April 29, 2018, PC Jeweller<\/a>\u00a0had in a communication to exchanges said that a board meeting of the company will be held on May 25 to consider and approve the financial results, consider recommendation of dividend and consider the proposal for buyback of fully paid-up equity shares of the company.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/india-news\/gift-to-family-helps-wipe-2-8-billion-off-india-jewellers-value-1847123\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PC Jeweller share prices\u00a0<\/a>have been under pressure since hitting a 52-week high of\u00a0<span class=\"rupee\">Rs.<\/span>\u00a0600.65 in January this year.<\/p>\n<div id=\"checked\"><\/div>\n<p>Last week, BSE had sought clarification from the company with reference to news reports that CBI has arrested the owner of PC Jeweller.
