Los Angeles, Jul 20 (DIN NEWS)<\/b> “Game of Thrones” star Richard Madden is in negotiations to join the cast of Elton John biopic Rocketman.<\/p>\n
To be directed by Dexter Fletcher from a script by Lee Hall, the film will feature Taron Egerton as the legendary singer.<\/p>\n
If finalised, Madden, 32, will portray John’s former manager, John Reid, who oversaw the career of the “Rocket Man” singer for over three decades starting in the 1970s.<\/p>\n
Madden, who became a household name after playing Robb Stark on “Game of Thrones”, will be joined by Jamie Bell as Bernie Taupin in the project.<\/p>\n
Matthew Vaughn and his Marv Films will produce, along with John and his Rocket Pictures partner David Furnish.<\/p>\n
