UltraTech Cement’s profit before interest, depreciation, and tax stood at \u20b9 3,751 crore, compared to Rs. 2,645 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a filing to the stock exchanges today, the company’s board of directors\u00a0recommended a dividend of 370 per cent at the rate of\u00a0\u20b9\u00a037 per equity share with a face value of\u00a0\u20b9\u00a010 per share aggregating\u00a0\u20b9\u00a01,068 crore. The dividend is subject to the approval of the company’s shareholders.According to the statement, UltraTech said that the recovery from COVID-19 led disruptions to the economy during the fiscal year 2020-21\u00a0was rapid.
