{"id":6320,"date":"2018-01-12T06:45:52","date_gmt":"2018-01-12T06:45:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/digitalindianews.in\/?p=6320"},"modified":"2018-01-12T06:45:52","modified_gmt":"2018-01-12T06:45:52","slug":"nsa-doval-met-pak-counterpart-in-thailand-mea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dinnews.in\/?p=6320","title":{"rendered":"NSA Doval met Pak counterpart in Thailand: MEA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>India today said National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met his Pakistani counterpart Lt Gen Nasser Khan Janjua (retd) last month in Thailand, noting that &#8220;talks on terror&#8221; can go ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Raveesh Kumar, the spoksperson of the Ministry of External Afairs, told reporters that the focus of the &#8220;operational-level talks&#8221; was &#8220;cross-border terror&#8221; and ways to ensure the elimination of terrorism from the region.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;India and Pakistan have a dialogue process and we have said terror and talks cannot go togther. However, there are other dialogue mechanisms like at the DGMO level or between the BSF and Pakistan Rangers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Similarly, the NSA-level engagement is part of operational-level talks.
