The Union Cabinet today gave its nod to a bill to restore the original provisions of a law on atrocities against Dalits and tribals, acceding to a key demand of Dalit groups ahead of their call for a ‘Bharat Bandh’ on August 9, a top government source said. Mumbai, Jul 28 (DIN NEWS) A bus, on its way to a hill station, fell into a gorge in Raigad district of Maharashtra this afternoon killing 33 passengers, senior officials said. The bus was carrying 34 staff members of an agriculture university in the Konkan region.
