भारत में ‘चरमपंथी गतिविधि’ को लेकर ब्रिटेन के कई जगहों पर पुलिस की छापेमारी

ब्रिटेन के आतंकवाद निरोधक अधिकारियों ने मंगलवार को ‘‘भारत में चरमपंथी गतिविधि और धोखाधड़ी के अपराधों’’ के आरोप में मध्य इंग्लैंड के कुछ घरों में छापेमारी की। वेस्ट मिडलैंड्स काउंटर टैरेरिज्म यूनिट (डब्ल्यूएमसीटीयू) की अगुवाई वाली इस जांच के तहत कोवेंट्री, लेस्टर और बर्मिंघम में छापेमारी की गई। छापेमारी अब भी जारी है और अब तक कोई गिरफ्तारी नहीं की गई है। वेस्ट मिडलैंड्स पुलिस ने एक बयान में कहा, ‘‘डब्ल्यूएमसीटीयू की जांच के तहत जांचकर्ता कई घरों की तलाशी ले रहे हैं। कोवेंट्री, लेस्टर और बर्मिंघम में आज रिहायशी…
