The Supreme Court today dismissed a plea filed by a US researcher challenging the Delhi High Court verdict acquitting Peepli Live’ co-director Mahmood Farooqui in an alleged rape case. The apex court rejected the plea filed by the 30-year-old woman, saying it would not interfere with the high court’s verdict which is a “well-written judgement”. “We are not satisfied. 10 yrs imprisonment to 3 arrested with liquor in Bihar

A local court in Bihar’s Munger district today awarded 10 years imprisonment to three persons who were apprehended last year with over 20 litres of country liquor, despite the total prohibition in force in the state.
