SC to hear Ayodhya case for an hour more daily from Monday

The Supreme Court on Friday decided to hear the Ram Janmabhoomi Babri Masjid dispute case for an extra hour from next Monday to conclude the hearing before the October 18 deadline fixed by it. Govt slashes corporate tax to 25.17 pc for domestic cos

In a major fiscal booster, the government on Friday slashed effective corporate tax to 25.17 per cent inclusive of all cess and surcharges for domestic companies. Making the announcement, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the new tax rate will be applicable from the current fiscal which began on April 1. कमजोर मांग के बीच सटोरियों के मुनाफावसूली से बृहस्पतिवार को सोना वायदा भाव 269 रुपये गिरकर 37,580 रुपये प्रति दस ग्राम पर आ गया। एमसीएक्स पर अक्टूबर डिलीवरी वाला सोना 269 रुपये यानी 0.71 प्रतिशत गिरकर 37,580 रुपये प्रति दस ग्राम पर आ गया। इसमें 3,184 लॉट का कारोबार हुआ। विश्लेषकों का कहना है कि सटोरियों की मुनाफावसूली से प्रमुख तौर पर सोना वायदा भाव में गिरावट रही। वैश्विक स्तर पर न्यूयॉर्क में सोना 0.88 प्रतिशत गिरकर 1,502.40 डॉलर प्रति औंस पर रहा।
