Sensex rallies 400 pts to hit record high; RIL shares surge 5%

Mumbai, Jul 12 (DIN NEWS) The BSE Sensex soared over 400 points to hit its record high after Reliance Industries (RIL) reclaimed USD 100 billion (approx Rs 6,86,604 crore) market capitalisation as its shares a hit 52-week high today. Afghan officials: Dilapidated dam crumbles, at least 10 die

Kabul, Jul 12 (DIN NEWS) Afghan officials say a dilapidated dam in a scenic northern valley has crumbled under the weight of heavy summer rains, killing at least 10 people. Omar Mohammadi, a spokesman for the ministry for humanitarian assistance, said that along with the 10 killed, about 300 houses were completely destroyed in the Panjshir Valley.
