Margot Kidder, ‘Superman’ star, dead at 69

London, May 15 (DIN NEWS) Veteran actor Margot Kidder, best known for playing Lois Lane in 1978 film “Superman,” has died. She was 69. The actor died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Montana, the Guardian reported. Funeral arrangements are pending, according to Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston, Montana. Kidder began acting in the late 1960s, but rose to fame in 1978 for her role as Lois Lane in “Superman: The Movie” opposite Christopher Reeve. Nainital, May 15 (DIN NEWS) In a setback to the state government, the Uttarakhand High Court has quashed all notifications regarding fresh delimitation of municipal bodies in the state to bring more areas under their purview. SC holds Sidhu guilty in road rage case, spares him jail term

New Delhi, May 15 (DIN NEWS) The Supreme Court today convicted Punjab Tourism Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu for voluntarily causing hurt to a 65-year-old man but spared him a jail term in the 1988 road rage case.
