श्रीनगर, 10 जून  जम्मू कश्मीर के कुपवाड़ा जिले में सेना ने नियंत्रण रेखा के निकट सीमा पार से घुसपैठ की कोशिश को आज नाकाम कर दिया और छह आतंकवादियों को मार गिराया। सेना के एक अधिकारी ने यहां बताया कि कुपवाड़ा जिले के केरन सेक्टर में नियंत्रण रेखा के निकट जवानों ने कुछ संदिग्ध गतिविधि महसूस की और घुसपैठ करने वालों को ललकारा। उन्होंने बताया कि इसके बाद हुए मुठभेड़ में जवानों ने छह आतंकवादियों को मार गिराया। अधिकारी ने बताया कि इलाके में तलाशी अभियान जारी है।
