SBI reduces charges on non-maintenance of minimum balance

The State Bank of India today reduced its charges on non-maintenance of an average monthly balance (AMB) in savings account by up to 75 per cent, effective April 1. The charges for non-maintenance of AMB for customers in metro and urban centres have been reduced from a maximum of Rs 50 per month plus goods and services tax (GST), to Rs 15 per month plus GST. मुद्रास्फीति आंकड़ों के उम्मीद से बेहतर रहने के चलते शुरुआती कारोबार में डॉलर के मुकाबले रुपया आज नौ पैसे सुधरकर64.95 पर खुला. इसके अलावा विदेशी पूंजी के सतत निवेश के बीच निर्यातकों की ओर से डॉलर की थोड़ी बिकवाली से भी रुपया सुधरा है. मुद्रा कारोबारियों के अनुसार अन्य विदेशी मुद्राओं के मुकाबले डॉलर के मजबूत रहने से रुपये में यह तेजी थम गई. कल रुपया13 पैसे सुधरकर65.04 पर बंद हुआ था. उल्लेखनीय है कि जनवरी में औद्योगिक उत्पादन की वृद्धि दर7.5% रही है, इससे भी रुपया को समर्थन मिला.

मिनिमम बैलेंस न रखने पर लगने वाले चार्ज में बड़ी कटौती, SBI ने घटाईं दरें

पब्लिक सेक्टर के सबसे बड़े बैंक स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया (SBI एसबीआई) ने अपने खाताधारकों को एक बड़ी राहत दी है. एसबीआई ने खाते में महीने में मिनिमम बैलेंस न रखने वाले पर लगने वाले शुल्क को कम कर दिया है. इस चार्ज में करीब 75 फीसद तक की कटौती की गई है. ये नई दरें 1 अप्रैल से लागू होंगी और इसका एसबीआई के करीब 25 करोड़ खाताधारकों को फायदा होगा. एसबीआई ने कहा कि उसने यह फैसला तमाम हितधारकों की ओर से मिलने वाली प्रतिक्रियाओं के आधार पर…
