HRD forms panel to examine CBSE’s exam conduct process

The HRD Ministry has set up a “high-powered committee” to examine the process by which the CBSE conducts examinations, following the alleged leak of the Class 10 mathematics and the Class 12 economics papers. Sensex rises nearly 100 pts ahead of RBI policy meet

The BSE Sensex rose nearly 100 points in opening trade today ahead of Reserve Bank of India’s monetary policy review that begins today. The six-member Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), headed by RBI Governor Urjit Patel, is scheduled for a two-day meet today and tomorrow.
