HC asks for details of physiotherapy facilities in Tihar Jail

New Delhi, Jun 20 (DIN NEWS) Observing that several inmates lodged in Tihar Jail here require physiotherapy, the Delhi High Court has asked the director general of prisons to give details of the facilities, including the number of machines and trained physiotherapists, available at the prison. Mumbai, Jun 21 (DIN NEWS) The rupee slipped 16 paise to 68.24 against the US dollar in early trade today due to fresh buying of the American currency by importers amid sustained foreign fund outflows. Kabul, Jun 21 (DIN NEWS) The Taliban killed eight police in two separate attacks in Afghanistan today, officials said. Arif Noori, a spokesman for the governor of the southern Ghazni province, says six police were killed and four were wounded in an attack on security posts today.
